The bike kept wanting to jack-knife and wasn&#8217;t very relaxing to ride.<\/p>\n<p>I&#8217;d kept the tubing diameter pretty stock, it didn&#8217;t look very contemporary and was crying out for some fatter tubes to keep flex in check. Although to be fair I didn&#8217;t really have any flex problems, probably due to being a fairly puny 10.5st.<\/p>\n<p>The final thing that tipped me over the edge was the amount of crimping that had gone on with the chainstays -it was way over the top. In places the tubing must have been under half its original width!
